The company curate’s food products from renowned chefs and well-known restaurants across Ready-to-Eat (RTE) and Ready-to-Cook (RTC) categories, while supporting Thai chefs in generating income and expanding career opportunities.

At the same time, Makro–Lotus’s continues to develop food retail spaces across its stores to become more than points of sale, transforming them into platforms that connect chefs, entrepreneurs, and customers. Most recently, Makro–Lotus’s is set to add excitement to its ready-to-eat food lineup through a collaboration with “Mok,” a local restaurant from Ubon Ratchathani and a recipient of the Michelin Bib Gourmand award. Together, they have developed a special rotisserie chicken menu, “Kai Tai Nam”, reinterpreting a traditional Northeastern Thai dish traditionally steamed with aromatic herbs. The dish is re-created using Western rotisserie techniques to achieve tender, juicy meat infused with fragrant spices, lightly seasoned with Isan flavors for easy enjoyment. A modern Isan touch is added with parsley, and the dish is served with jaew dipping sauce, allowing consumers to adjust the flavor to their preference.

Produced under certified food safety and quality standards, the menu will be available at Makro stores nationwide starting in February, offering consumers the opportunity to enjoy Michelin-level flavors at an accessible price.
