CP AXTRA’s Makro–Lotus’s Opens Free Retail Spaces for Small Business Operators Supporting the “Thai Help Thai Plus” Initiative

27 May 2026

Bangkok, 27 May 2026 – CP AXTRA Public Company Limited, operator of the wholesale and retail businesses “Makro–Lotus’s,” continues its commitment to “standing alongside Thai people” through the “Thai Help Thai Plus” initiative. The program aims to help ease the cost-of-living burden for consumers while creating economic opportunities for small entrepreneurs, community shops, and SMEs nationwide through the launch of the “ตลาดนัดคนละครึ่งพลัส” within Makro–Lotus’s shopping centers and branches. The initiative is designed to expand market access, generate income, and stimulate the grassroots economy in a tangible way, reinforcing Makro–Lotus’s role as both a “Happy Mall” and an “Opportunity Platform” that connects entrepreneurs, communities, and consumers to drive inclusive and sustainable economic growth in Thailand.

Under the initiative, CP AXTRA is providing free retail space within Makro and Lotus’s mall areas for small entrepreneurs, community businesses, and local vendors across multiple provinces nationwide. The project enables direct access to consumers while helping stimulate economic circulation within local communities. In addition, Makro–Lotus’s offers Small Business Operator opportunities to participate through various retail formats, including community market zones, pop-up stores, food courts, and special fair events within branches nationwide, helping create jobs, generate income, and expand business opportunities for small-scale entrepreneurs across the country.

Makro–Lotus’s is among the retail networks supporting the “ไทยช่วยไทยพลัส” initiative by offering the largest amount of free retail space for public participation nationwide. This reflects CP AXTRA’s role as more than just a wholesale and retail business, but also as an “Opportunity Platform” that connects entrepreneurs, communities, and consumers together, while contributing to inclusive and sustainable economic growth in Thailand through continuous support for local communities under the “Thai Help Thai Plus 60/40” concept, which aims to create mutual benefits for both merchants and Thai consumers nationwide.

Entrepreneurs and businesses interested in joining the program may contact Makro and Lotus’s branches nationwide for more information. Participating branches can be checked at Participating Branches Information or by scanning the QR code.
