CP AXTRA Joins Forces with the Department of Older Persons Advancing Job Creation and Income Opportunities to Enhance the Quality of Life for Older Persons

Mr. Pramote Poungsamlee, Director - HRBP Retail Business Group People, CP AXTRA Public Company Limited, the operator of Makro and Lotus’s, together with Mr. Chokchai Wichienchaiya, Director-General of the Department of Older Persons, Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, presided over the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the “60 ยังแจ๋ว” initiative. The collaboration aims to create employment opportunities for older persons at Makro and Lotus’s, supporting access to jobs and income while enhancing their overall quality of life.

The signing ceremony was witnessed by Mr. Kantapong Rangsesawang, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, together with Mr. Chaiwat Juthakorn, Mr. Adtasit Jiamchawee, Mrs. Wannapa Sookkhong, and senior executives. The ceremony was held at the Prachabodi Meeting Room, Ministry of Social Development and Human Security.

The “60 ยังแจ๋ว” initiative has been continuously implemented by CP AXTRA for more than three years with the goal of enhancing the quality of life for older persons. The programme encompasses employment and income-generation opportunities, while also creating inclusive spaces that support physical well-being, mental well-being, and meaningful social connections.

The initiative is further strengthened through “60 ยังแจ๋ว คลับ”, a community designed for active seniors and built around three core activity pillars “Fit, Food, Fun” encouraging older persons to stay active, connected, and engaged, while enabling them to live each day with happiness, purpose, and a strong sense of value.
