Bangkok, 17 July 2026 – CP AXTRA Public Company Limited, operator of Makro and Lotus’s, reaffirmed its commitment to empowering Thai entrepreneurs by participating in the launch of the “ไทยช่วยไทย แฟรนไชส์สร้างอาชีพ พลัส” initiative. Representing the company were Mrs. Siriporn Dechsingha, Chief Corporate Sustainability and Communication Officer and Miss Benchawan Ongsri , Chief Mall Officer, Mall & Property Group, The launch ceremony was presided over by Mrs. Suphajee Suthumpun, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce, at the Ministry of Commerce.

The “ไทยช่วยไทย แฟรนไชส์สร้างอาชีพ พลัส” initiative is one of the Thai Government’s key measures to promote entrepreneurship and strengthen the grassroots economy. Under the programme, eligible participants purchasing franchise packages from participating brands will receive financial support covering 50% of the franchise package cost, up to THB 10,000 per person. The initiative is designed to ease start-up investment costs and make business ownership more accessible for aspiring entrepreneurs.

As part of its commitment to fostering inclusive economic growth, CP AXTRA Public Company Limited is supporting the initiative by providing 6 months of free retail space for participating franchise businesses at more than 2,700 Makro and Lotus’s stores, representing over 10,000 retail locations nationwide. The initiative is intended to help new entrepreneurs launch their businesses, gain direct access to customers, validate their business concepts, and build sustainable income streams.
