CP Axtra Partners with Panyapiwat Institute to Offer Full Scholarships, Nurturing Thailand’s Next Generation of Retail Professionals

Bangkok, 8 August 2025 – CP AATRA Public Company Limited, the operator of Thailand’s leading wholesale and retail brands Makro and Lotus’s, has reaffirmed its commitment to social responsibility by promoting educational opportunities for Thai youth. In collaboration with Panyapiwat Institute of Management (PIM), CP AXTRA is offering 373 full scholarships for the 2025 academic year, aimed at developing future professionals in the wholesale-retail and modern agriculture sectors.
The scholarships provide students with a chance to pursue a tuition-free education while gaining hands-on experience through PIM’s work-based education model, which integrates classroom learning with practical training. Students also receive benefits including internship stipends, accommodation, uniforms, and clear career advancement opportunities.
The scholarships cover three key faculties:
- Faculty of Food Business Management – preparing future leaders in food retail and wholesale.
- Faculty of Business Administration – equipping students with modern business skills and innovation-driven thinking.
- Faculty of Agricultural Technology and Innovation Management – developing experts in smart agriculture and agri-business management.
Of the total 373 scholarships, 252 are offered under the Makro brand, and 121 under Lotus’s. Eligible applicants must have completed upper secondary education (Mathayom 6), vocational certificates (Por Wor Chor/Por Wor Sor), or equivalent qualifications, with a minimum GPA of 2.75.
