CP AXTRA Mobilizes Full-Scale Support Teams to Aid and Rebuild Flood-Affected Communities in Southern Thailand

CP AXTRA Public Company Limited, the operator of the “makro–Lotus’s” wholesale and retail businesses, continues to provide ongoing support to people affected by the recent flooding in southern Thailand. The company has deployed its makro–Lotus’s volunteer teams to Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province, to distribute relief bags, essential consumer goods and urgent necessities to affected residents. The volunteers also supported post-flood recovery efforts by helping clean shops and business areas damaged by the floods, enabling local entrepreneurs to reopen their businesses quickly and supporting the revival of the local economy.

To ensure that assistance reaches communities broadly and promptly, CP AXTRA Volunteers are also acting as a nationwide collection and distribution channel for donated items from customers. Donation points have been set up at all makro branches across the country to gather essential goods and deliver them swiftly to affected areas, helping alleviate hardships during this critical period.
