CP AXTRA Received 45 MEA ENERGY AWARDS 2025 for the Fifth Consecutive Year Reinforcing Leadership in Energy-Efficient Buildings in the Wholesale and Retail Sector

Bangkok: April 28, 2026 – CP AXTRA Public Company Limited (CP AXTRA), the operator of Asia’s leading wholesaler and retailer “Makro and Lotus’s, represented by Dr. Anan Watcharapongvinij, Senior Director of Construction, Group Mall & Property, Mr. Chatchai Pintavirooj, Associate Director of Facilities Management - Retail, Group Mall & Property and Mr. Seree Rattanaroengchai, Senior Manager - Energy & Engineering, Group Mall & Property, received the MEA ENERGY AWARDS 2025 (8th Edition) Standard level in the Energy-Efficient Building category for the Hypermarket group, Small Retail Shop/Convenience Store Building group, and Community Mall Building group from Mr. Ditchawat Chanei, Governor of the Metropolitan Electricity Authority, under the 2025 Building Energy Efficiency Improvement Promotion Project. The company received a total of 45 awards, the highest number in the program, and has continuously received awards for the fifth consecutive year.

This achievement reflects CP AXTRA’s strong commitment and capability in enhancing building standards toward environmental sustainability, alongside maintaining high indoor air quality. These efforts contribute to delivering a better experience for customers, employees, and stakeholders, while also reducing greenhouse gas emissions and minimizing environmental impact from business operations. The recognition further reinforces the company’s leadership in energy-efficient buildings within Thailand’s wholesale and retail sector.

This year, the awarded buildings include 10 hypermarket branches, namely Makro Nakorn In, Sanambinnam, Phetkasem, and On Nut, as well as Lotus’s Hypermarket branches at City Park Bang Phli, Tiwanon–Pak Kret, Srinakarin, Lak Si, Rama II, and Rama IV.

In addition, 34 small retail/convenience store branches under Lotus’s Go Fresh Mini-Supermarket were recognized, including Chaloem Nimit Road, Samrong Nuea, Ari, Phetkasem 33, Bang Pla, Ram Inthra, Tiwanon 45 (Saithong), Kaset-Nawamin Road, Pracharuamjai Soi 17, Phraya Suren Soi 30, Keha Romklao 4, Phet Siam Village 3, Thian Thale 19 (Wat Hua Krabue), Phetkasem 63 (Kanchanaphisek 3), Talad Khok Ma, Sukhaphiban 1, Krueawan Village, Park 99, Samrong, Wiset Suk Nakorn Village, Ramkhamhaeng 174, Ramkhamhaeng O/B (Sukha 3), Promdan Ekachai 131, Pho Thong, Lat Phrao 41 Yak 9, Wat Weluwanaram, Tamru–Bang Phli, Samut Prakan, Thidin Thai, Sriyan, Udomsuk, Ekachai 87/1, Khu Khlong 10 Soi 7, Khlong Chan, and Anamai Bang Phli Noi, Samut Prakan, along with one community mall, Lotus’s North Ratchaphruek.
