Makro Welcomes Delegation from the Department of Internal Trade at THAIFEX–ANUGA ASIA 2026

Bangkok: May 27, 2026 – Makro, a leading wholesale business under CP AXTRA Public Company Limited, welcomed a delegation from Thailand’s Department of Internal Trade, led by Mr. Wittayakorn Maneenetr, Director General of the Department of Internal Trade, and Mr. Chanthapat Panjananond, Deputy Director General of the Department of Internal Trade, during their visit to the Makro Pavilion at THAIFEX–ANUGA ASIA 2026, Asia’s largest food and beverage trade exhibition.

During the visit, the delegation explored Makro’s Own Brand products, including “Aro” and “Aro Gold,” as well as showcases featuring fresh food products, Ready to Cook (RTC) and Ready to Eat (RTE) offerings, and business solutions designed for modern food entrepreneurs under the concept “Live Like A PRO.”

At the event, Makro executives and representatives from the Department of Internal Trade exchanged views on food innovation, product development, and approaches to enhancing the capabilities of Thai entrepreneurs through international food innovation and product standards. The visit reflects Makro’s role as a Business Enabler committed to working alongside government agencies to support Thai entrepreneurs and help drive Thailand’s food industry toward sustainable international growth.
