Bangkok, 20 January 2026 – CP AXTRA Public Company Limited, the operator of the wholesale and retail businesses makro–Lotus’s, continues to support Thai farmers by expanding product distribution channels through Makro and Lotus’s branches nationwide. Most recently, the company has supported watermelon farmers from farms in Chon Buri Province, selecting quality produce throughout the entire supply chain from upstream to downstream to ensure that the watermelons delivered to consumers are fresh, clean, safe, and standardized before reaching the market. This initiative helps expand market opportunities and generate stable and sustainable income for farmers.

At the same time, CP AXTRA further strengthens consumer confidence in product quality and safety through its i-Trace (Traceability System), the company’s end-to-end supply chain traceability system that enhances food safety standards. Consumers can simply scan the QR Code on the product to access key information, including the product’s origin, variety, production standards, cultivation location, and nutritional information.

The i-Trace system has been implemented for vegetables, fruits, and meat products. In addition to enabling consumers to make purchases with confidence, it also serves as an important mechanism to support Thai farmers while driving the development of a safe and sustainable food industry across the entire value chain.
