CP AXTRA Empowers the Next Generation to Champion Environmental Awareness Driving Thailand Toward a More Sustainable Future Through “พลาสติก คืนค่า by CP AXTRA”

Bangkok, 3 August 2026 – CP AXTRA Public Company Limited, the operator of Makro and Lotus’s, continues to advance its sustainability strategy through “AXTRA Circular Impacts: รวมพลัง ขับเคลื่อนไทยสู่ความยั่งยืน” by launching “พลาสติก คืนค่า by CP AXTRA”, a nationwide competition platform for university students. The initiative aims to inspire young people to play an active role in responsible resource management while promoting the principles of the Circular Economy across Thai society.

Short Video Competition

University students are invited to create short-form videos under the theme “Proper Plastic Bottle Management: Returning Value to Society”. Participants may compete in teams with no limit on the number of members, and team members are not required to be from the same university or academic year.

Entries must be submitted as vertical videos (9:16 aspect ratio) with a maximum length of two minutes. Participants are encouraged to present their ideas creatively through storytelling, music, rap, short dramas, or any other original format. Videos must be published on one team member’s public TikTok account, with downloads enabled, and include the hashtags #คืนค่าAXTRAZeroWaste #พลาสติกคืนค่า #CPAXTRA. Participants must also submit the video link through the project's Google Form at https://forms.gle/qhTqzNdktRwV19acA. Submissions will be accepted from 1–31 August 2026.

Awards

• First Prize: THB 10,000, trophy and certificate
• First Runner-up: THB 5,000, trophy and certificate
• Second Runner-up: THB 3,000, trophy and certificate

The “พลาสติก คืนค่า by CP AXTRA” competition, held under “AXTRA Circular Impacts: รวมพลัง ขับเคลื่อนไทยสู่ความยั่งยืน”, goes beyond encouraging waste separation and promoting the proper recycling of PET plastic bottles in line with Circular Economy principles. It also seeks to create lasting social value by fostering environmental awareness among Thailand’s younger generation, empowering them to become key drivers of positive environmental and social change toward a more sustainable future.
