CP AXTRA teams up with celebrity chefs for “Chef Day’s Charity Event” delivering 3,600 meals to Bangkok communities

Bangkok, September 29, 2025 – Makro, Thailand’s leading wholesale operator under CP AXTRA Public Company Limited, marked its 36th anniversary with a special initiative, highlighting its commitment to supporting society. The “Chef Day’s Charity Event” brought together top Thai celebrity chefs and restaurant partners to craft nutritious and flavorful dishes, with over 3,600 meal boxes distributed to communities across Bangkok.

The charity event showcased a diverse menu inspired by Makro’s high-quality ingredients, featuring Western, Thai, Chinese, Korean, Japanese and Fusion food freshly prepared dishes include menu Chicken Steak with Jus Sauce and Mashed Potatoes – Chef Willment Leong & Chef Aek, Buffalo Chicken Wings with Cheese Sauce and Onion Rings from Chef May & Chef Bass, Sourdough Pizza from Chef Off, Yaki Udon from Chef Pruek , Kimbap from Chef Are , Dim Sum from Chef Pom, Nori Seaweed Fried Shrimp from Chef Bill (Eat Me Shrimp), Stir fried pork with Mhala sauce from Chef Oh & Chef Noi and Stir-Fried Chicken with Holy Basil (Pad Krapow Gai) from Lung Wang Krapaw Phonfai. All 3,600 meals were freshly prepared, boxed, and delivered to communities across Bangkok. Makro has also extended the impact of the initiative by developing selected dishes into Ready-to-Cook and Ready-to-Eat (RTC–RTE) products under the concept “Exclusive Chef Creations, only at Makro.” This aims to offer both entrepreneurs and consumers a unique, high-quality taste experience at great value. Importantly, it also provides opportunities and support for small entrepreneurs to participate in recipe development, generate additional income, and grow sustainably alongside Makro.
